Boston Tragedy

Whether you are a seasoned runner or a first time participant, for some runners, the Boston Marathon has the same degree of importance as golfers have for being in the Masters Golf Tournament. The competitive spirit of Monday’s marathon however quickly evaporated when two bombs, seconds and yards apart, exploded killing three and injuring over 100 people, some very seriously. The incident has been declared an act of terrorism. The person(s) responsible for Monday’s double bombing wanted to generate fear, which from a terrorist’s perspective may reflect a certain degree of success. They must not be allowed to succeed.
