Freedom of religion should never be allowed
to trump freedom of the individual. There would be a lot less socially divisive
issues everywhere if religious convictions were kept for home and places of
worship. When will we learn that our collective best interests can only be
achieved when we are governed on the basis of freedom from a religion?

Freedom From Religion Trumps Freedom Of Religion
As some people in Arizona and elsewhere in
the United States try to advance anti-gay policies by advocating their right for
freedom of religion, they are undermining the efforts of religious
organizations in trying to curtail their declining number of followers. With 1
in 5 Americans claiming no religious affiliations and that number increasing to
1 in 3 for those under 34, it seems evident that the survivability of certain religious
organizations is being threatened.
