With the recent freeze your butt temperatures and record January snow, it may have become a challenge to have Ottawans believe in global warming. Just when we thought all this talk of climate change was going to bring us some relief, mother nature appears to have other ideas, at least as far as Ottawa is concerned. Some may think that with all the hot air that flows from Parliament Hill the surrounding areas would be warmer. Not so. As an aside, does that mean we will not be able to look forward to having palm trees grace the landscape or alligators in our waterways anytime soon? Grin and bear it, I guess! Eh!
