Sandy Overpowers Bounty

Pictured below, the HMS Bounty was once a regular attraction at “The Pier” in St-Petersburg, Florida. Yesterday, the Bounty, which had a reputation for being able to triumph over the worst weather, was unable to survive the power of hurricane Sandy. The Bounty now rests on the ocean floor. Its absence at “The Pier” will be missed by the many frequent visitors.
