NRA Trumps Pres. Obama

The National Rifle Association is holding its 142^nd annual convention in Houston, Texas. As expected, those that managed to get access to a microphone are wasting no time in telling the President to back off on what they perceive is the right to do whatever they please with the acquisition of weapons. This is not just a guy event. Women are equally active and some manufacturers even have their business organized to cater to women’s fashion accessories; purses to conceal guns. It is somewhat ironic that the President of the United States, a person who can unleash the massive power of the U.S. military beyond its borders with the stroke of a pen, can remain powerless to do what needs to be done within the country’s own borders. Imagine, the President can’t even advance common sense change.
