Plot Thickens

It appears Senator Mike Duffy is not going to take a fall without bringing someone with him. That someone would be Prime Minister Harper. Yesterday, in the Senate, Duffy stated that he acted on instructions received from the PMO and indicated that Harper had been present during some of the discussions on how to handle the growing scandal around Duffy’s claim that his cottage in PEI was his primary residence.

Duffy’s comments will now likely turn the spotlight away from him and unto Harper. An avid hockey fan, we can only speculate how Harper will stick-handle around these latest revelations. Question Period in the House of Commons should prove quite entertaining over the next few days, weeks and perhaps months. This matter will not go away with the customary tactics of staging other distractions. Canadians deserve an unfettered investigation of this affair, the sooner the better.
