Drunken Sailors...NDP & Liberals

Even though the Canadian federal election is still weeks away we are already hearing spending promises that are in the hundreds of millions of dollars. At the current rate of proposed spending, it is not unreasonable to think that by October 19th the final tally of promises may be in the billions. Will there be program cuts, increased taxation or both? Unfortunately, we are not hearing specifics on how these promises will be funded. Hopefully voters will resist the temptation of being hoodwinked into believing that "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus".
