Duffy Case Disgusts

It is quite hard to follow the Mike Duffy case without feelings of disgust. While the presiding judge will ultimately determine whether or not to convict Duffy, the overwhelming evidence suggests that the boundaries of ethical behaviour have been breached beyond comprehension. How could Duffy in all good conscience, having lived as a resident of Ottawa for many decades, suddenly conclude that his cottage in P.E.I. was his primary residence. Greed is the answer. Not satisfied the government made him a senator, something he apparently grovelled for over a number of years, he wanted to indulge himself with the public purse by claiming living expenses for living in the same house! If Duffy had any remaining morality he would surrender his senate title and fade away, far away. The whole repugnant affair is sickening.
