Trump: Divided States of America

Donald Trump is doing extremely well in bringing out the worst in people. For a person who aspires to lead the United States, he divides rather than unites. His notion of leading by example suggests a Trump presidency could be filled with unprecedented social and economic instability. While his flagrant indifference regarding the atrociousness of what he says or who he insults may resonate with some people, it is not by any standard what most people would consider a hallmark of a president.

The Republican Party will take a long time to recover from this current embarrassment. The Trump or Cruz options are bound to make the Democrats jump with glee. Unless the GOP establishment can offer voters a respectable candidate, with John Kasich being the only current alternative, voters will have to ultimately decide if they want a Divided States or a United States.
