Well,
it is now official. Donald Trump is the Republican Party's choice to become President
of the United States. Scary! During
Trump's unusually long acceptance speech, it was evident he is not accustomed
nor comfortable reading prepared texts from a teleprompter as he is predisposed
to off the cuff comments. Yesterday's doom and gloom message, likely intended
to appeal to the malcontents he attracts, suggests he will have problems in
getting enough common sense people on side. Political pundits seem unanimous in
their conclusions that Trump may be just a little too far right of center to
attract a sufficient amount of support.
While
Trump's business strategies appears to have served HIM very well, his political
problem-solving ideas lean more to creating more complicated issues. Unless Trump
sets aside his tendency to speak before thinking, he is likely to make more
gaffes in the coming months and all to the benefit of Hillary Clinton.
