There’s a Reuters photo in some newspapers today showing a man holding a placard with the top part of the sign having the word “Cuomo” directly below the word “Communist” and the bottom half of the sign with the words “Has To Go!”.
The explanation below the photo states the man was demonstrating in protest of the ongoing lockdown measures in New York connected to the coronavirus pandemic. I got that part. A lot of people are growing increasingly frustrated with theses ongoing restrictions and want to vent. Fine.
It is the top half of the placard that may offer further insight to the real motivation here. Is the man suggesting New York State Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo is a communist or is he inferring that all democrats are communists?
The answer to what can best be described as an attempt at character assassination was noted in one word emblazoned in big bold letters on the man’s ball cap. I know you know what it said. But for those unsure, yes, it was the word “TRUMP”. Say no more!
