Ontario Liberals aka: Closet NDP

It seems that with each passing month, the line separating the ideological differences between the Liberals and NDP, which was once clearly articulated, is now increasingly blurred. Whether it is at the federal or provincial level, as the Liberals and NDP gravitate closer to each other with a political platform that makes it difficult to separate one from the other perhaps the day of merging may not be too far away.  When you consider the contents of the recent Ontario Liberal budget it can be speculated that it was developed with getting the support of the NDP. Are Ontario Liberals merely closet NDP?
