Liberals: Closet NDP's

While political parties will often generate budgets that are designed for re-election purposes, they are seldom so evidently self-serving. Our don’t worry-be-happy Liberals have put feel-good issues that garner more votes ahead of those matters, such as defence, that are routinely placed on the back burner. Unlike most past Liberal governments that tended to stay close to the political center with their programs, it is becoming increasingly difficult to see this leftist leaning government as anything other than a closet NDP.
