Christmas Shopping Starts In July!

Here we are, July 12^th, enjoying 30+C temperatures (that’s 86+ for those of you still using the Fahrenheit scale) and some businesses are already thinking about the winter holidays. The poster in the photo below is alerting shoppers to the opportunity of buying holiday ornaments in two days. How depressing is that? While I can appreciate that the retail sector is usually geared to start one season earlier, the Christmas holiday period is still over 5 months away. What’s coming next? Snowsuits? db
