Three months ago,
Prime Minister Stephen Harper officially opened the Royal Canadian Navy
Monument. Situated on a small piece of land called Richmond Landing and
adjacent to Victoria Island in the Ottawa River, the sail-shaped monument is in
recognition of the men and women in Canada’s navy. You can read more about the
