In a few more days,
Quebecers will cast their vote on their choice to form the next government.
While recent surveys suggest the outcome may be a minority Parti Quebecois
victory, there is still time for voters to change their mind. The PQ’s ongoing
obsession with holding another referendum on separation appeals only to a small
portion of the population. The majority of Quebecers have moved on from the
idea of separation preferring to see a government that creates conditions that
promotes job growth, as well as improving health care and education programs.
Canadians across the country also share these common interests. Unfortunately,
the PQ’s priorities are skewed toward a small group of malcontents whose vision
of the future does not seem to encompass too much beyond the boundaries of
Quebec.
