Needless Tragedy

The tragic deaths of two young boys, killed by a python in Campbellton, N.B., will hopefully create a catalyst to advance stricter controls on the public’s ability, as well as that of pet-shop operators, to acquire animals that can be best described as extremely dangerous. If any good can come from these needless deaths is that pythons and other dangerous animals are restricted to government monitored programs, such as zoos and other educational venues.
