Courage To Change

While many people may be familiar with the following prayer, the second version really drives the message home from my perspective.

“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.”

“God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me.”
